Every October 29, cat lovers celebrate National Cat Day, a day to appreciate the curious, cuddly and endlessly entertaining cats in our lives, and to remember the many cats still waiting for homes in shelters.
Whether you are spoiling your own cat or looking for a gift for a fellow cat person, two new sets make it easy: one for everyday play and scratching, one for grooming and cozy naps. Both are 20% off through Sunday.
Cat Essentials Set: Scratch, Groom, Play
The Cat Essentials Set brings together three everyday favorites. Cats scratch to keep claws healthy, stretch their back and shoulders, and leave their scent, so a good scratcher is one of the most useful things a cat can own.
- All Day Cat Scratcher . Brown: a cardboard scratching bowl in a hard-cover frame with a non-slip bottom. Many cats also use it as a lounge bed.
- Illu Cat Brush (Black): a small precision brush for gentle cheek and chin grooming, with a non-slip stand.
- Two Illu Mouse Catnip Toys: felt and genuine leather with a tiny bell. Pick two of the same color or mix and match White, Gray and Brown.
Tip: place the scratcher near your cat's favorite nap spot. Most cats stretch and scratch right after waking up.
Cat Groom & Cozy Gift Set: Pamper and Snuggle
The Cat Groom & Cozy Gift Set is made for the cat who has everything. It pairs grooming tools with a soft, snug place to curl up as nights get colder.
- Hooded Microfiber Dog & Cat Dry Towel: quick-drying microfiber with an animal-ear hood that keeps the head and ears warm after a bath. Choose the set in Charcoal, Cream or Lavender.
- Illu Cat Brush (Black): for calm face-grooming sessions.
- Baguette Cat Cushion: pull the drawstring for a cocoon-style hideaway, or lay it open as a lounge mat. Soft bouclé inside, a lightly rustling outer layer.
- Illu Mouse Catnip Toy: one mouse in the color of your choice.
Tip: keep grooming sessions short and end with a treat. Most cats come to look forward to them.
More Ways to Celebrate Today
- Schedule two or three short play sessions. Let your cat catch the toy at the end.
- Refresh the water bowl and keep it away from the food dish and litter box.
- Check that cozy spots are warm and draft-free as the weather turns.
- If you have room in your home, consider visiting your local shelter.
